Siccome metto "reparto assistenza" e non solo "assistrenza", non è necessario ripetere dopo di nuovo "reparto assistenza", ma basta collegare le due frasi con il classico "che". Perciò: "...la linea è affidata al reparto assistenza, CHE..."
