Frame relay Collegamento di frame ed indica un protocollo per trasferire a velocità superiori a 1.554 Mbps. Il frame relay è il protocollo più impiegato nelle reti a larga area, dato che il relativo software può essere installato sui dispositivi X.25 esistenti, come i router.
