During problem escalation, communication is always an explicit requirement of any action plan. Once
the issue has been identified and appropriate resources involved, a clear problem statement, summary of ***customer impact***, action plan, and established time of next update and/or resolution is communicated. Where there is ***customer impact***, the account manager or a representative from customer service will ensure the customer is informed.
