In base a come traduci "post production yarn" puoi ripetere o meno il termine "filato" -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 ora (2007-11-08 08:42:25 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Scusa, mi è venuto in mente che si utilizza il termine "fondo cono" per indicare le rocche non utilizzate del tutto, quasi esaurite e forse lo potresti utilizzare. |

Dunque, assodato che parliamo di tappeti, cosa che andrebbe specificata nel contesto perché la lavorazione è particolare, questo è quanto sono riuscita a trovare in rete: ""tail-outs—those leftover virgin yarns that normally go unused." http://www.interiordesign.net/id_article/CA601289/id?stt=000... una sintesi un po' generica e che pone altri problemi sul "virgin yarn". Concordo sui "fondi delle rocche" ("...fondi delle rocche anche pochi metri di tessuto, mescolando fra di. loro tutti i filati avanzati dalle precedenti produzioni. ..." www.airvallee.com/editoriali/Flightmag4_06.pdf ). A me "tail outs" suggerisce l'idea delle cimose tagliate a fine tessitura del tappeto, ma in mancanza di conferme, metterei: *ritagli e fondi di rocche* e amen!:) Ciao! |
