secondo me c'e' differenza tra "paradiso fiscale" (che di solito e' "tax haven") e "paradiso del duty free".
ovvero: se dici "paradiso del duty free" io capisco che ti riferisci ad un posto dove posso andare e comprare alcoolici e profumi a prezzo ridotto, e poco piu'.
il paradiso fiscale e' invece quello dove prendono residenza pavarotti e i pink floyd (e molti altri ancora) per risparmiare cifre enormi sulle tasse!
percui, se nel testo originale chi l'ha scritto avesse voluto intendere quest'ultima situazione, avrebbe scritto "tax haven" e non "duty free paradise"

nota che nell'originale si parla anche di turismo, quindi la prima cosa che mi viene in mente e' orde di gente che si va a comprare il profumo di Beckham, piuttosto che ricchi imprenditori che cercano di evadere qualche tassa.
in conclusione: secondo me tradurre con "paradiso fiscale" sarebbe errato.
