責任を取る、でも良いと思いますが、ここでは個人的な職務だけに責任を持つのでなく、その業務全体がきちんと遂行されるように他の人などの助けも借りて指揮をとりつつ最後まで見届ける、と言うことだと思います。Resourcesは便利な英語で日本語では言い換えにくいのですが、この場合は主に部下などの人員のことと思って良いでしょう。ただそれに限定されずに例えば外注とかソフトウェアとか翻訳者とか（？）も含むので．．．まあこの訳は別に考えてください。でもOwnershipといっているのはこうしたresourcesもうまく指揮して仕事を取りまとめる、と言うことだとおもいます。 |

日本語ネイティブじゃないですから、微妙なニュアンスは上手く表現できませんが、何となく「責任を持って」は普通に「take responsibility」になるような気がします。
「take an ownership role」はもう少しお洒落な言い方、というか、「責任」という言葉をあまり使いたがらないかも分かりませんね。「ownership role」は何か「自分から動く、自発的」という意味に近いと思います。「やらされているのではなく」、自分から決めて、何かの行動を起こしているという感じですね。
