English term or phrase: Re-invention is the key to survival
This concerns advertising companies having to change and rethink their ways. I'm wondering what the best word would be to use for "re-invention/re-invent" in this context.

Thank you. Your help is appreciated.

変革こそ生存の鍵
Explanation:
Implecation of 変革 covers pretty much of everything, let it be a corporate struggle or a personal improvement stuff. Moreover it conveys a very strong thought.
In your context it appears this is a pep talk to its employees.
My translation is intended to that end, as well as a catch phrase.

re-invention is the key to survival
発明を繰り返すことが生き残りの鍵となる

Explanation:
In this case, I think it is better to use "発明を繰り返すこと" instead of "再発明" since the invention has to be continuous and not a one-time thing.

disagree  Maynard Hogg: 発明 is too literal for this CONTEXT. Not that stopped 小林克也 from translating that way in reference to Madonna: (http://www.j-wave.co.jp/original/djkobys/backnumber/20060) 「Re Invent」、は芸能の世界でよく使われる言葉なんですが、自分の音楽や自分のイメージを発明し直すという、「Re Invent」。マドンナは、絶えずそれをやってきた。

re-invention is the key to survival
生き残るにはその都度のイメージチェーンジが不可欠

Explanation:
I am, of course, thinking of Madonna who has survived by going through so many image changes. She even called one of her tours "Reinvent Yourself."
First URL below: "Prince and Madonna reinvent themselves regularly. Prince, musically; Madonna, imagistically, in media terms."
Don't take Mr Kobayashi too seriously. His radio show (of which I'm a regular listener) mentions Johnny [sic] Mitchell—of "big yellow taxi" fame.
