I want to get death before dishonor in Kanji tattooed but I want to make sure I'm getting what I want meaning what I want and not meaning something else. Please help me.

玉砕
Explanation:
You could do "不名誉より死を” as well, but I thought 玉砕 carries the meaning of the phrase better; it means 'to die in battle rather than surrender'.
Hope this helps!!
