Haruka Akatsuki 春花 暁 Explanation: First Name: Haruka= Spring Flower Last Name: Akatsuki= Morning/Dawn First Name Haru: Spring (春) Ka: Flower (花 or 華) Last Name Akatsuki: Morning/Dawn (暁) I struggled with this name a bit! I first thought of Hana Shungyou (華 春暁.) In this case, the first name is Flower and the last name is Spring Morning. The last name, Shungyou, is a phrase often used in Haiku and Tanka poems. It's nice, but sounds more Chinese than Japanese, I guess. Other options were there, as well, but they didn't sound good when combinded. My choice is Haruka Akatsuki. Haruka is a very pretty girl's name. Ka (flower) can be either Chinese character,花 or 華. It's not quite your suggestion, i.e., Spring for the first name, but I think the meaning is still there; Spring's flower in Morning. It's pretty. Good luck! |
