|English term or phrase: the best in world cinema|
|To put on posters in my cinema to advertise our wide range of films from around the world that we show|
1 day10 hrs
シネマ界 最上 OR シネマ界史上 最高
The first suggestion:
This phrase is often used to advertise films. The first word, Shinema-Kai (シネマ界), is a literal translation of the World of Cinema or the field of Cinema.
The second word, Saijou (最上), means the best/ the finest/ the highest in quality.
The second suggestion:
Shinema-Kai Shijou Saikou
This phrase is also very familiar to Japanese audience, and has added enthusiasm. The first word, Shinema-Kai, is the same with the above explanation.
The second word, Shijou(史上), means "in history" (i.e., going down in history).
The third word, Saikou (最高), also means the best/ the finest/ the highest in quality. We use Saikou instead of Saijou, becasue when Shijou is placed in front of Saijou it sounds too redundant (i.e, "Shijou Saijou).
I recommend the second suggestion. My personal preference.
Good luck with your film!
