agree  Kurt Hammond: another word for this sometimes used in companies in English would be "important people" , but this term is not desirable from an HR perspective (because there shouldn't be references to people -- only roles)

agree  sigmalanguage: interfacesって曖昧な言葉なので迷いますが、新入社員研修なので、この可能性が高そうだと思います。他の訳としては「関係部署」「担当者」「連絡を取るべき人」といったところでしょうか。

コンピュータ用語風に考えると、他の回答は正しいと思います。
また顧客と担当係りのインテーフェースなんてこともいえますよね。

ただ、新入社員の訓練という設定を考えると、特に窓口とかでなくて、もっと一般的に、「毎日仕事の上で接触するひとびと」ということと違いますか?

そこで次に続く　and their importance　は、そのひとびととの人間関係保持の大切さという風に私には思われますが。
