I agree with Kurt and Joe. The only "slow jam" I have ever heard is what they play on the radio.

As Kurt said, it's remind me of a printer and not a PC itself. By the way, there's a genre of music called "Slowjam". (I am not familiar with this but...)

As Kurt, I wasn't sure if "jams" are used for computers but now I started to think it may be one of those play on word things, with the song Joe mentioned. Thank you very much both of you. Sorry one more - I have never heard the word "jam" used with a computer - there are printer jams, but a computer is usually 'crashed' or 'frozen' or 'slow' or 'unresponsive' or 'hung' or 'stuck'

I am unable to guess any IT or business meaning for such a phrase. The only thing "hold slow jams" means to me is a bunch of kids in a garage with eletric guitars and drums playing a song with a beat that is not very fast.

I've been pondering this one too. If you can't give us the preceding and trailing wording
verbatim, could you 'make something up' which is similar in context, but that gives us
the gist of this mysterious phrase??

I suppose this is difficult to understand because there is no real context. It is conversational. I'm afraid I can't give out any more sentenses due to a confidential agreement. I was wondering if you say "hold slow jams", if it means something specific in IT terms. Or, does "slow jams" mean something more than a jaming computer?

I can't make any sense out of it. Is that the verbatim sentence? As noted by the grammatical error "That's is" - it's possible this was written by a non-native and is a poor transliteration from his/her original language?
