この「on-premise server」は「業務用サーバー」でよいと思うのですが、「on-premise」は一般的に「業務用」と訳されるのでしょうか？ |

上記の場合、クライアントの敷地（構内）にあるサーバーにルーティングされた全てのメールが最初に集められ、そこから残りのメールが構内でメールアカウントを持っている個人宛に配信される、という意味だと思います。業務用だと少し意味的に離れてしまいませんか？極論を言ってしまえば、Lemon67さんが使っているサーバーも私が使っているサーバーも翻訳という仕事をする意味で使っているもの（無論私用で使うこともある）なので、厳密に言ってしまえば、業務用と言えますよね。 |
