knife-clamp だけでは検討がつかなかったのですが、その後の "inserting a pin, flipping it ... and pull off wires" から、おそらく、「圧接端子によって接続されている電線を抜いてください」ということだと思います。
圧接端子の説明は色々出ていますので、ここにはリンクを張りませんが、knifeと表現していることから、被覆部を引き裂く板状の刃のことを指しているのでしょう。でも、これだけでは確信はありません。剥き出しの電線を押さえて接続する場合もありますし。（たしか、スピーカーとかはそうだったような？）
ランプを交換した後の配線で、電線をはめ込む（差し込む）スロット（刃受け）や、それに似たものを指す言葉が出てくれば、この推測で当たっていると思います。 |
