Explanation:
定訳かどうか分りませんが、ここでのtippingとはtip off, つまり、内密の情報を漏らす、ということです。

以下はフランス語でstock tippingって何て言うかというリンクですが、"révélation d'informations sensibles"、(exposure of sensitive information)機密性の高い情報の暴露と書かれていますので、上記を提案します。

リンク先のように、tipには、「内々に情報［予想］を伝える」という意味」や「（人に〉（有利になるように）内密の情報を漏らす」という意味があります。

＊漏洩とは、秘密などがもれること。また、もらすこと。 「秘密が―する」という意味で、決して漏れてはいけないインサイダー情報を漏らす（または情報が漏れる）ことだと解釈しました。


＊インサイダー取引とは、別名内部者取引といいます。　会社の経営・財務など投資判断に影響を及ぼすような未公開の重要な情報にもとづいて、役員・従業員・主要株主などある一定の立場ゆえに知るに至った者（以下「会社関係者」）が、その情報が公表される前にその会社の発行する株式等の取引をおこなうことです。

Stock tippingは、親戚や友達などに、株価に影響を及ぼすような情報を漏らす
（暴露）するとあります。　つまりdisclosure of secret (秘密の漏洩)です。
株式情報の漏洩、　会社の株価に関わる情報の漏洩ということになります。

disagree  humbird: 「漏洩」という言葉に異議を唱えます。これは意図せずに外に漏れてしまうということですが、tipping とは「耳打ちする」というような感じで「意図的に漏らす」ことです。日本語に混乱しておられるようですね。

agree  Tomoyuki Kono: 漏洩は自動詞（漏れる）と他動詞（漏らす）の両方の意味で使われます（広辞苑 s.v.）から問題ないと思います。情報の「提供」も「漏洩」もtippingの直訳ではありませんね。個人的には「株式情報」という訳が、「インサイダー情報」の意味を内包していると感じられるので適していると思います。漏洩は'leak'の意味も十分伝わるところがいいと思いますが。

disagree  Yasutomo Kanazawa: 私もhumbirdさんの意見に賛成です。漏えいというのは意図して行うのではなく、自然あるいは不可抗力によって発生するものです。この場合tippingなので、意図的に情報を晒す、口語的に言うと、チクリを入れるという意味になると思うので、漏えいという言葉は相応しくないと思います。//「チクリを入れる」という言葉をネットや辞書で調べてみなさい。

  -> 「漏洩する」というのは意図的な意味合いも含んでいます。一方「機密性の高い情報」を提供するというのは、「垂れ込み」ではなく、警察などに情報を提供する等悪意のないものまで含まれます。ですので、「漏洩」「内報」などの言葉が相応しく、単に提供では物足らないと思います。

まず、動詞の tip の定義は辞書によると、以下のとおりで、情報の秘密性は不可欠ですが、内密の情報を他人に伝達する行為が特定の方法で行われることは必要とされていません。したがって、秘密を他人に提供、開示、伝達、または漏洩すればよいと考えます。

なお、後者の辞書では tip off は tip の Informal だとされています。

つぎに、日米（また、その他の国）の法律（金融商品取引法、証券取引法など）概念上、insider trading には違法な行為と合法な行為があると考えられており、stock tipping の意味はinsider trading and stock tipping の前後の文章が何を解説しているかに左右されると思います。極端な例として、ストックブローカーが、株に関するの知識のない者に、すでに公開されている証券アナリストのレポートをもとに成長を期待できる株の銘柄を教える行為は、stock tipping に該当します。この場合、情報提供がこっそりと行われても、そうでなくてもtippingであることには変わりはありません。

合法的行為を特に論じた文献の数はあまり多くないので、ここでは、おそらく違法行為である insider trading についての文章であると仮定して、stock tipping も同趣旨の概念だとすると、「株式情報の漏洩」が適切な訳だと思います。「株式情報の提供」と訳す余地もあるかもしれませんが、インサイダー取引を語る場合、日本語では「情報（の）漏洩」を使うことが多く、理解しやすいと思います。
