English term or phrase: website soon available
Hello,

I'm looking over a simple statement telling users a website is currently unavailable but will soon be, but I feel like something is missing in the second sentence.

This is what I have currently:

ウェブサイトは、現在開発中です。すぐ、利用可能になります。

I'm especially worried because of adverb placement. Does anyone see any potential problems in this statement?

Japanese translation:ホームページはただ今準備中ですので、少々お待ちください。
Explanation:
Your translation makes sense, but sounds too much like a translation, especially the 利用可能 part.

I do think some of the other translations carry a certain nuance, but I prefer this approach.

agree  Akiko Sasanuma Howard: It may sound better if you separate the sentence -「ホームページはただ今準備中です。少々お待ちください。」

ウェブサイト近日中利用可能!になります。

Explanation:
当ウェブサイトは、近日中にご利用可能になります。When you see 'soon', you know it means 'some time in nearest future' and should be left ambiguous with a word that implies such. Also, with this one sentence it implies that it is under construction. Do not forget to add polite prefix 'ご' for custumer's use before 'available'. I just added 当 to indicate [our] before the website. You can use "ウェブサイト近日中ご利用可能!" just as the original.

I clicked and the site just uploaded my mess.... Sorry folks.
ウェブサイト近日中ご利用可能! is what I wanted to say.

ウェブサイトは近日公開予定です。

Explanation:
I tried to make it as simple as possibile. 近日公開予定 is enough to mean that the website is under construction and will be available soon.

agree  Sue-my: 少々お待ちくださいよりは近日公開予定のほうが短くてよいと思いました。ウェブサイトもこのごろはよく使われていますよね。

  -> Thank you.

agree  Yuki Okada: 良いですね。どういうニュアンスを前面に出したいかでいくつか考えられますね。

agree  RobPott: ホームページは近日公開予定です。しばらくお待ちください。 Googleで検索したら、このような文章が和歌山県ホームページに出ます。
