There is one sentense that I just can't put into good enough Japanese...could someone please help me...?

"The officer executing this writ shall promptly serve the same according to requirement of law, and the mandates hereof, and make due return as the law directs"

本令状を執行する係官は……
Explanation:
「本令状を執行する係官は、法の要求により直ちに上記およびこの文章の命令を執行し、法の指示にしたがい返還するものとする。」

I think this is part of the decision of the court, and "the same" refers to the decisions made by the court (such as paying this amount to that party). So, "the same" is translated as "上記", which is literally "things written above". In addition, the main verb "serve" takes two objects, "the same" and "the mandates". I do not know what is to be returned, but I think "of this writ" is omitted after "make due return". THe subject, "officer", can be changed according to the context.
