Japanese doesn't have an equivalent expression for "bon appetit" or the like. Perhaps this is because it's up to the person eating the meal to decide whether it's "nice" or not.

The phrase どうぞ召し上がって下さい (Dozo meshiagatte kudasai) just means "Please help yourself/get started/tuck in", but is used quite frequently in Japan.
