"We have the ability to check for, and eliminate, straight-liners from our clients' data set. Again, we consult with clients to ensure the appropriate criteria to pinpoint cheaters/fraudulent respondents."

何択一かの選択問題で最初の質問から全て同じ答を出す人のこと。例えば5択問題があり、社内での労働環境や人間関係についての調査があったとします。質問1：あなたの労働環境はa)大変すばらしい b)すばらしい c)まぁまぁ d)良くない e)最悪という質問があって、e)の最悪を選んだとします。第2の質問で上司はあなたの仕事ぶりをa)大変評価してくれる b)評価してくれる c)どちらでもない d)あまり良い評価をしてくれない e)コキ下ろすことしかしない、という質問に対し、同じe)を選んだとします。このような質問がいくつも続き、全て同じ線上、つまり一番悪いe)ばかりに丸をつけたり、逆にa)ばかりに丸をつける人のことを言います（必ずしも極端ではなく、全て平均に丸をする場合も当てはまります）。cheaterだと言うのは、多分こんな回答ばかりじゃアンケートや市場調査の意味がないからです。下のリンクはあるProzのメンバーの提出したサンプルですが、straight-linerという言葉が出てきます。それを見ていただければ分かりやすいと思います。
