So, `burred walnut` is walnut wood that has a prominent grain. You will see some woods (eg.柿 ) used for their attractive/decorative grain in some furniture (eg. Korean chests). BTW A `burr` can also be a rough protrusion on a cut of piece of metal etc, or a seed stuck in something (eg. in a sheep`s fleece) but, not in the case of walnut. Same word, different meaning/usage.
