Inspect main boom: check cylinder pins, pin eyes, and basket pin, check cylinder pin eyes, check for damage.
です。油圧シリンダーで動かすものの検査項目です。Pinというのはシリンダーの端を動かすものに接続するときにシリンダーの端の穴に入れる棒のことだと思います。
だとすれば、Pin eyeというのはその穴のこと？それとも棒に「目」がついている？？？どういう部品で、日本語ではなんと言うのでしょうか？
よろしくお願いします。

The second link says, "The pin eye is welded to the piston rod." So I figure the links are showing the same thing. The Japanese link shows the pin eye by itself, while the English link shows it welded to the piston rod.

Explanation:
cinefilさんのおっしゃるように、シリンダーのピンが差し込んである穴のことだと思います。2回出てくるのは、ただ繰り返しただけではないでしょうか。

Asker: ありがとうございます。BoomとBasketの2つは別のものなので、それぞれ別のシリンダーがあって、それで2回出てくるのだと思います。英語の書き方がややあいまいですが、 Inspect main boom: check cylinder pins and pin eyes; basket: check cylinder pins and pin eyesという風に理解しています。

Asker: Thanks, Casey. The second link refers to an eye on the rod end of a cylinder to accept a rod (or pin, I guess).

Asker: Great link! With two holes, they look like eyes. I wouldn't say they are 目 unless some mechanical guru suggests that, though.
