血清検査装置でサンプルを入れる試験管の様なものです。試験管といってしまっても良さそうなものですが、英文ではpetteといっています。日本語で「ペット」として業界の人には通じるものか、それとも、もしかしてこのメーカー特有の用語なのか．．．ペットで検索すると犬や猫の話ばかり出てきて、昼間に星を見ようとするみたいな感じです。

よくご存知の方、よろしく御願いします。

Excuse me for using English; I write practically exclusively in English so it's hard to break the habit. :-) There are many pipette companies out there that make electronic pipettes, Transferpette, Matrix, and, like Yasutomo-san mentions, there is A-Pette. But, your "pette" is without a capital P. That is curious. I'm still wondering if the company is using "pette" generically for these new pipettes.

Sawasaaのリンクで言っているものと同じpetteに間違いないと思います。helenaの方はも1つ分かりません。ここにもあります：

Pipetteでないのは間違いありません。ただPipetteから作った製品名かな、とは思いますが、医療の分野は不案内なので皆さんにお知恵を拝借しています。

Hi Yuki. Honestly, I was so excited by the "pette." It looked so French and "pipette-ish. A 試験管 is a test tube. A pipette is sort of like a thin 試験管 with a tapered end having a hole for dispensing or absorbing liquids. Could "pipette" have possibly turned into "pette" to become a part of their own in-company jargon?...

早速ありがとうございます。petteは同じ文書、別の文書でも繰り返し出てくるので、pipetteの書き間違いである可能性はありません。明瞭な写真は未だ見つけていませんが、どうもやはり形は試験管の様なもののようです。
