Explanation:
新しくコンピューターのソフト（algorithm）を用いて、可能性のある結節病変を見つけ、そしてプロンプト（べたに知らせると言う意味で通知にしてみましたが「プロンプトを上げる」とかにもなりますかしら）、つまり画面上で診断医に「ここにありますけど、どうですか？」と言った形でお知らせするのだと思います。この意味で「強調」はとてもあっていると思うのですが、CTでは「強調」が主に造影剤による増強にenhancementで使われるので、もしかしたらちょっと避けた方が良いかも知れないと思いました。
肺野のスクリーニングはヒューマンエラー等で見逃したくないですよね。なのでこの様なコンピューター援助による技術が開発されていっているのだと思います。最近の画像処理技術って凄いとお聞きしていますし。good luck !

すみません、書き忘れました。それと「小結節」なのですが、「結節病変」とかがよく使われるので、noduleでnodeに比べて小さいものと言うのは変わらないですが、結構 interchangeable に使われています。文章中にあえて区別して書かれていなければ（例えば、確か皮膚科では大きさで定義が分かれていたと思います）「結節」を使っても問題なかったと記憶しています。

すみません。またしても。ちょっと気になりましたので、調べてみました。CTの画像をいじって見やすくすることを「強調」で使っているようです。ですのでcinefilさんの通りです。
