意外と訳すのが困難な語句だと思います。有効基質濃度とも違ったニアンスですが、汎用されています。total concentrationが、通常問題にされる「濃度」なのですが、理論的に（其の微小部位で其の物質は）複数の（役割のchがう）コンパートに分かれて存在している場合に使用します。

Explanation:
難しいですね。カクノさんの説明ですと、available concentration は、total concentration　の一部になるということでしょうか。合計濃度という言葉はみつかりましたが、肝心の　AC　がみつかりません。有効濃度にすると全く違う意味を持つようですし、有効態もピンときません。
