The English is incorrect. What it should say is:

"... were given by the expressions ln 2/k1 and ln 2/k2."

There is no equal sign (等号) so change "equation" (等式) to "expression" (式). And I think "In" (capital I, small N) actually says "ln" (small L, small N), which means "natural logarithm" (自然対数).

In Japanese this would be something like

ｌｎ ２／ｋ1 と ｌｎ ２／ｋ2 という式

Or even better:

ｌｎ(２)／ｋ1 と ｌｎ(２)／ｋ2 という式

The usual way of calculating a half life is to divide the natural logarithm of 2 by the rate constant, so "ｋ1" and "ｋ2" should be separated from the "ｌｎ" operator.

The reference shows an example of this sort of calculation.
