Explanation:
Not sure if you're a Japanese speaker, I'm writing in English.

For the meaning of "riff" or "guitar riff", pls refer to the corresponding Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riff

There we find: "In music, a riff is an ostinato figure: a repeated chord progression, pattern, refrain or melodic figure, often played by the rhythm section instruments, that forms the basis or accompaniment of a musical composition". Riff is predominantly used in rock, Latin, funk or jazz than classical.

Apart from that, I thought the meaning of "deep-in-the-pocket" is a sort of slang way of referring to being in an euophoria, fascination and the like. Hence, suggestion. Maybe we'd need more information to conclude anything definite.

Apparently, "deep-in-the-pocket" may have been derived from some basic slang. I found a definition in Kenkyusha's Reader's Dictionary that "have something(someone) in one's pocket" means 完全に自分のものにしている or (人を)思うとおりに使う. If the speaker's intention is close to that, something like 完璧なギターリフ or 自由自在なギターリフ might be translation, but I have no idea!
