古城、湖上、孝女、皇女 Explanation: Let's face it. This is a typical case of "missing link". I would like to ask the asker "What kind of name? A place? a person's? a thing?" "Proper noun? Common noun? or what?" Translations I cited above is some results you would get when you typed "K-O-J-O" and have your word processor converted. First is "old castle", next is "on the lake", next is "a woman who is pious to her parents", the last is "Emperor's daughter -- princess". In first two last "o" is elongated, in last two first "o" is elongated when pronounced them. Don't tell me I did not try. |
