元気?(genki? = how are you/are you well?) Assuming you are looking for the Japanese version of the American greeting "what's up", this is a common greeting among Japanese. Some Americans think the purely literal translation of 何上(nani-ue) is funny, but most Japanese won't get the bad joke.
