English term or phrase: spottiness:50 - 3/4" hemp
This is a part of a stage spec.
"CWT Fly system:
Spottiness: 50 - 3/4" hemp
Rope sheaves:21 doubles - 50 singles
Cable sheaves:92 single groove sheaves (beam mount)
I think that this may be a misprint or slang for "spot lines" which could look like "spottiness" if you are reading a hand written manuscript. In the first reference you will see that spot lines come with a number of certain lengths that may have sheaves. And the second reference gives the Japanese for "spot lines" - tenduri

It is not handritten, but it can be a misrint because there are other typos in the text. And I see no other explanation.
