know-it-all
知ったかぶり

Explanation:
This has more of the connotation that the person is pretending to know everything, or more than he/she actually does, for the sake of showing off or looking superior. ~のフリをする is to pretend to do something, literally mimicking the gestures.
Makes me wonder how they translated it for the Harry Potter books, when Snape called Hermione that...

erasou ni

Explanation:
(Sorry, my Japanese input is shot at the moment)

As far as i know, there's no direct translation for the term 'know-it-all' as something you'd call somebody.

Instead of calling somebody a know-it-all, you could say 'erasou ni', 'erasou ni (naninani wo yatteru)' or 'erai ne'. 'erai' has the 'superior' kind of feeling about it, and it would be sarcastic in this usage, obviously.

Other than that...Ican't really think of anything.
