5 +2 | トウキック, トーキック; つま先蹴り |

トウキック, トーキック; つま先蹴り Explanation: Simply enough, "toe kick" is "トウキック" (tou kikku) or "トーキック" (too kikku). This is not an Okinawan word, but a loan word from English, which refers to a kick with the toe used in soccer. If you prefer a non-loan-word translation, "つま先蹴り" (tsumasaki-geri) would be possible, where "つま先" (tsumaski) is "toe" and "蹴り" (geri, there is a phonological sound change from "keri") is "kicking". -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2003-07-08 23:53:11 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- http://www.google.com/search?q=gELbN http://www.google.com/search?q=g[LbN http://www.google.com/search?q=ܐR Reference: http://www.bekkoame.ne.jp/~sigematu/yougo/yougo_ta.html Reference: http://www2b.biglobe.ne.jp/~kanemori/socdic.htm |
