flesh-colored mary magdalene 肌色 Explanation: (I'm sorry, my Japanese input isn't working at the moment) Interesting. From the context, you can't really tell. The 'repentant' is likely to just be a reference to the bible, where she is identified as a 'repented sinner' - i.e. she used to sin, but now she doesn't. So the 'repented' probably just means that the image of her is set after she became a virtuous woman. I doubt that 'flesh-coloured' means naked as there are many, many ways to imply nakedness and 'flesh-coloured' isn't really one of them. The word gives me the impression that a lot of flesh is on display, but you can't see everything - either she has some clothes, or the view of her body is blocked by an animal, object, person etc. It's a very vague description, so I would probably go with 肌色. |
