| English term or phrase: aerobics/anaerobics | Both are a kind of sport whose names are apparently derived from the biological terms "aerobic" and "anaerobic".
The term "anaerobic" appears to have more uses, but as a sport anaerobics are generally frowned upon by medical physicians. If I have understood properly, they fail to generate enhanced blood circulation, clog the veins and arteries of the body, and thus fail to provide the cleansing effect produced by their more healthful cousins "aerobics".
I imagine that "anerobics" eventually lead to drug use. |
