Japanese slang for "tough guy"
Hello. I am interested in Japanese youth, street and college slang.
Besides "tsuee yatsu", "tufagaru", "tafunayatsu", "yibai-yatsu", and "gekitsuyoino", "gaki", "yankii" and "marubo"what are Japanese slang terms that commonly mean "tough guy", not neccesarily literal translations of the term "tough guy"? I'm interested in definitions such as, "a guy porne to fighting", "a guy whose strong both physically and emotionally", a "good-natured fellow," , a "guy who builds up his esteem through fighting" and "brave hardy fellow", and "hunk/well-built fellow", and defintions along the lines of "punk" and "rough/tough looking fellow" and "bold agressive fellow" and "guy hard to control". Please use Roman transliterations and please post as many slang translations as possible. Thank you.
