I : Watashi or You : Anata are not necessarily included in a conversation as you can see above. Ofcourse, you can say 'I love you' like this: 私は貴方を愛しています, but more often than not, 愛していますis enoungh and sometimes it can even sound more profound. I hope you didn't mind me translating your 'Until you feel the same way' to 同じ様に愛してくれる which would be 'until you love me in the same way' because I thought it sounded more natural in Japanese.
