Explanation:

Speaking of free trial, it is my understanding that you could just transliterate as "프리 트라이얼". However, if you want to reach broader audience, it would be much safer with a more friendlier and less technical translation like the one I suggested in the target term. "30 days free trial" would "30일간의 무료 시험 사용" in case you need it.

Again: Microsoft uses "무료 평가판", and Adobe uses "무료 시험판" to refer to "free trial". Both are valid, just keep consistent.

Personally, I would not recommend interpreting "trial" as "시도" or its equivalent; trial in this context usu. refers to a trial software. I.e. "Download free trial" should be correctly translated to:

"무료 평가판/시험판 다운로드"
"맛보기 프로그램 다운로드"

but NOT to:

"무료 시도를 위한 다운로드"
"무료 시험 사용을 위한 다운로드"

since the user would probably doubt what he/she would be downloading.
