this is a quote from Cicero, that I found in Perseus. it is a bit stronger than what you want, with the repetition .
I was looking for confirmation of "magnificus" when I found the sentence.
Obviously I think of Lorenzo il Magnifico, the ideal renaissance prince, as truly Magnificus and noble.
