cave, like cave canem, beware of the dog, should be right, interpres is translator in latin, but whether this has to be declined accordingly, someone else has to answer.
CAVEAT means, verbatim, may the buyer beware, which is to say, that it is the buyers duty to check quality etc. , before buying.
CAVE, as in CAVE CANEM ,means 'beware ! ', imperativus.

but if you wanted to say, that the person RETAINING an interpreter or translator should beware, then the whole thing would have to be checked again !
It is correct, thanks...just wanting to make a comment to that one used mainly in Real Estate but used legally in many things..caveat emptor is buyer beware....what would "translator beware" be in latin?
