English to Latin translations [PRO]
Art/Literary - Poetry & Literature | | English term or phrase: Justice Before Peace | not sure what the translation would be:
for the word justice which is more appropriate:
iustitia? justitia? aequitas? for justice?
for peace I am assuming: pax
and for the preposition, before (as in
prior to) i am assuming: ante
but what would be the proper word order? |

'Aequitas' means rather 'fairness, equity', although in later classical Latin it's sometimes equal to 'iustitia'. 'Iustitia' is the better orthography, j being a late developement to distinguish consonantal from vocalic i.
The word order is the same as in English, the preposition 'ante' requiring an object in the accusative.
