English to Latvian translations [PRO] Science - Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng | | English term or phrase: EINECS | Kuru iisti var uzskatiit par oficiaalo tulkojumu?
"The "European Commission number", or EC number, also known as EC-No and EC#, is the seven-digit code that is assigned to chemical substances that are commercially available within the European Union. This number is assigned by the Commission of the European Communities; the EC number is the official number of a substance in the European Union.
The list of substances having an EC number is called the EC Inventory.[1] The EC Inventory includes the substances in the following inventories.
European Inventory of Existing Commercial Chemical Substances, EINECS
These are substances, excluding polymers, that were commercially available in the EU from 1 January, 1971 to 18 September, 1981.
The identifying number of these substances is called the EINECS number.
European List of New Chemical Substances, ELINCS
These are substances that became commercially available after 18 September, 1981.
The identifying number of these substances is called the ELINCS number. .."
NB! Viss minētais Wikijā ievietots, izmantojot gana autoritatīvu avotu (http://guidance.echa.europa.eu/docs/guidance_document/substa... kuru pat palasīju :) : "These three lists of substances, EINECS, ELINCS and the NLP-list, in combination are called the EC Inventory. Each substance in this inventory has an EC number allocated by the European Commission (see detailed information on the EC number in Appendix II)."

Labprāt piekristu īsākajam TTC variantam, taču Eiropa nav tikai EEZ, savukārt ar ES šādā kontekstā parasti arvien saprot arī EEZ... :)
BTW, ja gribas ko ekstravagantāku, ideāli derēs TTC proponētais "Eiropas ķīmisko komercvielu (sic!) saraksts"... :)))

E. piedāvātais "oficiālais" variants tulkojot no tā paša TTC 2004. g. e-šķirkļa vien būs pakampts, smukumam aplami piemetot klāt lielo Ķ diferncētājvārdam :)

Jau sāku raustīt valodu; diferencētājvārdam, protams |
