Until now, numerous strategies to target antigens into the class II processing pathway have been described. Expressed in APCs, such fusion proteins direct the antigens into the class II processing compartment (Marks, M. S., Roche, P. A., van Donselaar, E., Woodruff, L., Peters, P. J. & Bonifacino, J. S. Domāju, ka drīzāk būtu jāņem vērā veids, kādā šie proteīni tiek iegūti.
Taču arī šis ir vienīgi ierosinājums.
Vēl minēts, ka rekombinantos sapludinātos proteīnus var dēvēt par rekombinantiem himēriem proteīniem.
Darbs, kurā atradu līdzīgu viedokli gan ir stiprs zinātniskā nozīmē, bet ne valodnieciskā. Tomēr "sapludinātie" diezgan labi raksturo to producēšanas veidu.
