A window placed in a projection of an exterior wall of a building is called an oriel window when the wall projection does not extend all the way to the foundation.

Ориел-прозорец е облик на еркер (аголен прозорец) кој често се наоѓа кај архитектурата од готската возобнова. Ваквиот прозорец се кои се издава од главниот ѕид на зградата и виси, т.е. не ја достигнува земјата. За изработка и поткрепа на ваквите прозорци се користат дрвени колена и рамки.
