Explanation:
Цревните паразити се мали црви кои живеат во цревниот тракт. Почесто се јавува кај деца бидејќи тие понекогаш јадат и земја или ставаат валкани прсти или предмети во уста со што се внесуваат ларвите на овие организми.

Други причини се јадење храна која не е добро термички обработена или контакт со човечки или животински измет итн.

Parasitic species:

Nematodes commonly parasitic on humans include ascarids (Ascaris), filarids, hookworms, pinworms (Enterobius) and whipworms (Trichuris trichiura)

Whipworm infection (trichuriasis) is an intestinal infection caused by the roundworm Trichuris trichiura. Severe infection causes gastrointestinal symptoms.

Routine fecal examinations and deworming can help control this widespread parasite.
