English term or phrase: otherwise legitimate claim

A claim shall not be invalidated on the grounds that you or the insured person failed to notify us within the prescribed time if it can be shown to our satisfaction that it was not reasonably possible to give such notice within the prescribed time limit for an otherwise legitimate claim.
