इंग्रजी शब्दांसाठी सरकारी पातळीवर प्रादेशिक भाषांमध्ये प्रतिशब्द तयार करण्यात आलेले आहेत (आणि येत राहतील!) खरे पण असे शब्द वापरलेले लेखन मुळ इंग्रजी लेखन समजण्यापेक्षाही अवघड होऊन बसते आणि लोक मग भाषांतर वाचण्याचे टाळून मुळ (source) मजकूरच वाचणे/वापरणे पसंत करतात.
पॉलिमरला मराठीत बहुवारिक आणि मोनोमरला एकवारिक असे शब्द मायबाप सरकारच्या मराठी तज्ञांनी दिलेले असले तरी सामान्यांच्या आकलनाच्या बाहेर आहेत. व्यावसायिक पातळीवर भाषांतर करताना शक्यतो प्रचलित शब्दांचाच वापर करावा. जेणेकरून ज्या कारणासाठी आपल्या ग्राहकाने भाषांतर करून मागितले ते सार्थकी लागेल. |
