English to Marathi translations [Non-PRO]
English term or phrase:i miss you
i want to tell my friend i miss him very much when he's away.
tu nasatana khup chukalyasarakhe hote tuzya athavanit
Explanation: In marathi missing is perceived at two stages of mind one wch is called janiva and another by neninva.
the one wch yu appear to refer is typically associated with emotion of parting a friend or partner...so when not being there what you miss is important for this emotion and it should always carry some strong reason to do so i.e. the memory of the person.. so the above version i have tried.this emotion is well described by radha for lord krishna in viraha .however viraha and viyoga may be treated the same in one english term missing but any indian language would have lots of shades and meanings assoictaed with it.You may accept this i hope..
