Forheksende syns jeg var det beste ordet å bruke. Fikk fram noe av det mystiske med ordet "hauting" og ikke bare det at musikken var uforglemmelig.

Explanation:
hant in Norwegian translates into a dozen terms: hjemsøke, spøke, besøke ofte, plage etc. "Haunting melody" means something like a melody that is either played a lot or that you can't get out of your head, I presume. My two suggestions should cover either of these possibilities.
