Jeg går ut i fra at det dreier seg om et reduksjonsgir (italienske "riduttore" er jo en direkte oversettelse av "reducer"), men vil være på den sikre siden. Her er noen tekstbiter (motoren tilhører en båndtransportør):
Drive: Consists normally of a squirrel-cage motor, reducer and a coupling between them (fluid coupling, V-belt transmission or direct e.g. pin coupling).
