English to Norwegian translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Automotive / Cars & Trucks / tenningsnøkkel
English term or phrase: ACC-position (accessories)
Tenningsnøkkelen kan settes in ON-, OFF- og ACC-posisjon. "ACC" er en forkortelse for "accessories".

(Jeg sier alltid nei til biltekster, men denne dukket opp som en del av GPS-programvare).

Forklaring funnet på nettet:
http://www.essortment.com/home/automotiverepai_sadb.htm: "The first position is usually marked "Acc"- an abbreviation for 'accessories'. Your car key allows the switch to be turned to the Acc position. Certain electrical systems can be operated without need for the car's engine to be running. The Acc position allows occupants to turn on the radio or adjust power windows, for example.
