Begrepet "bunding" har ingen motpart på norsk og må skrives om som et substantiv.

Strengt tatt, i følge Wikipedia, dreier det seg om bruk av en vegg som hindrer oversvømmelse, men veggen må stå i forbindelse med et gulv, og resultatet blir i praksis et basseng. "Oppsamlingsbasseng" vil være selvforklarende og forståelig.

Alternativt vil uttrykket "lekkasjehindrende vegg" kunne brukes, men er ikke umiddelbart like beskrivende som "oppsamlingsbasseng".
